Macallan Concept Number 1 2018

Released at a Travel Retail Exclusive in 2018, this limited edition expression from The Macallan celebrates world visionaries. Concept Number 1 is inspired by surreal art and is crafted with innovative production techniques. Matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks, before being transferred to ex-bourbon casks for an equal amount of time, this expression is bottled at 40% abv.

The nose is sweet with butterscotch, almonds, ginger and cinnamon. The palate brings fruity notes of orange and lemon with ginger and soft oak spice, before a sweet citrus and drying oak in the finish.
